Contract Program Manager

About the role

The Contract Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating a 6-9 month very specific, important project that is critical to the Cleveland site, to ensure business goals are met. Main duties include organizing various programs and activities to improve company efficiencies, building long-term goals for company projects and developing program and project budgets. This role will be required to support continuous improvement by identifying areas of deficiency and recommending appropriate changes in training, working practice and processes for the site.

Responsibilities & Performance Measures

• Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the organization
• Devising new programs that support the organization’s objectives
• Come up with sustainable goals for the organization
• Working with other departments to develop budgets and plans for the programs
• Evaluating and assessing the programs’ strengths and weaknesses
• Making sure projects are being monitored and overseen to ensure goals are met
• Making meetings with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals
• Working with the marketing team to improve strategies
• Evaluate Quality Control Systems leading to an improvement in our critical to success criteria.
• Improve upon our current MES to transform into site specific improvement of our analytics.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, business, or engineering or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years’ experience in a technical production environment
• Program management techniques
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

Contractor rate negotiable depending on experience and final statement of work
