About the role

AWS is seeking an experienced Contract Operations Manager to support the Private Pricing Program, preparing and drafting executable contracts based on approved frameworks and driving strategic projects to support our Customers. This role is part of the Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team within the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization.

Key job responsibilities

  • Autonomously operate within established frameworks and approaches with minimal guidance, while managing multiple, complex contracting cycles at various points in the process.
  • Have highest standards and a bias for action to achieve deal velocity while exercising high judgment and autonomous decision making in often ambiguous situations.
  • Take ownership of the contract process, driving internal and external teams, such as Legal and Sales.
  • Identifying, tracking and analyzing key metrics as well as assisting with development of recommendations for improvements based on metrics.
  • Own and deliver results on important strategic program related projects which drive improvements and scalability for our Customers, in the contracting space.

About the team

The Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization is responsible for the AWS Private Pricing Program, designed to offer AWS Customers access to commercial benefits in exchange for multi-year spend commitments. This program offers enterprise customers the opportunity to accelerate their cloud transformation journeys through multi-year cloud commitments with AWS, in exchange for commercial value through pricing, access to services, and opportunities to innovate with AWS.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology
  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

Pay

  • USA, CA, San Francisco: $162,700.00 - $220,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, CA, Santa Monica: $147,900.00 - $200,100.00 USD annually
  • USA, IL, Chicago: $147,900.00 - $200,100.00 USD annually
  • USA, NY, New York: $162,700.00 - $220,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Austin: $147,900.00 - $200,100.00 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Dallas: $147,900.00 - $200,100.00 USD annually
