About the Role

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) Long Range Radars department is seeking a Contract Logistics Support (CLS) Instructor and Developer. LCE ensures products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time, supporting engineering, program offices, and customers throughout the product lifecycle. This role focuses on product support, including reliability, system safety, and supportability.

As the CLS Instructor and Developer, you will be responsible for training and guiding maintainers of the AN-TPY-2 system globally. This includes developing and revising maintenance training plans, conducting formal classroom instruction, workshops, and seminars, and providing administrative support to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of Air & Space Defense System products and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operations and maintenance training technical content, including presentations and accompanying materials.
• Assess engineering data for impacts to existing technical content.
• Create and maintain technical manuals covering system functional theory, operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, schematics, and illustrated parts breakdowns using technical reports, drawings, and parts lists.
• Research technical documentation, consult engineering personnel, and collaborate with subject matter experts to design effective learning and documentation solutions.
• Deliver instructor-led classroom training to stakeholders as required.
• Conduct training sessions and evaluate the effectiveness of training activities and materials.
• Interface with DoD customers and international partners to optimize products and solutions, ensuring maximum operational readiness and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Domestic and international travel up to 15%.

Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience in training instruction and development in a military or civilian environment.
• Experience with the AN/TPY-2 system and/or similar missile defense systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to analyze technical documentation and training materials while working independently and collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience writing to military specifications and familiarity with radar, sensor systems, or other advanced electronic systems, particularly within DoD programs.
• Master Instructor or Master Training Specialist Certification, or equivalent training expertise, with a self-driven approach to ownership of training.

Pay

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Factors considered include role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
