About the role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all on-site HR functions supporting a dynamic distribution environment. This role will partner closely with site leadership to drive employee engagement, operational effectiveness, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead all site HR functions including employee relations, compliance, payroll, workforce planning support.
- Serve as a strategic partner to site leadership on organizational and people-related matters.
- Maintain regular floor presence to build relationships and proactively address employee concerns.
- Lead and document employee relations investigations and provide recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws (EEO, FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, etc.).
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, attendance, staffing levels) to inform business decisions.
- Oversee performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Utilize HRIS systems (UKG/Kronos) for data management, reporting, and payroll support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
- 3+ years in distribution center, manufacturing, or similar environment.
- Strong employee relations and investigations experience.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
- Prior safety program support or management experience is a huge PLUS!
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with HRIS systems (UKG/Kronos).

Pay
$XX/X per hour or $XX,XXX/year, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional travel to Durham, NC (approx. 10%).
