Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate the end-to-end contract process, including drafting, reviewing, routing, tracking, and executing healthcare payer and/or service agreements.
- Manage and oversee existing contracts, including amendments, renewals, and terminations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations.
- Identify potential partners and initiate contract requests based on business needs.
- Facilitate communication with relevant departments during internal contract review and approval to ensure timely progress and resolution.
- Ensure key operational staff and leadership are informed and supported regarding new and existing agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including legal, compliance, and operational teams to maintain efficient contract management processes and meeting regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a contract management system, tracking components and scope of executed contracts.
- Aid in contract negotiations between healthcare providers and payers.
- Identify and escalate issues, risks, or delays in the contract process to leadership, as appropriate.
- Serve as a point of contact for contract-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, law, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract coordination, contract administration, or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and industry-specific contract terms, is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with provider agreements, managed care contracts, or hospital/vendor contracts, is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and FQHC operations, is a plus.

- This is not an OSHA high-risk position.
