Contract Coordinator
About the role
Weston & Sampson is seeking a Business Contract Coordinator for our Services group out of our Worcester, MA location.
Responsibilities
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Develop and draft contracts using our in-house templates. Review incoming contracts from clients, conducting risk management assessments including liability, terms, and assumptions. Coordinate with clients throughout the contract lifecycle. Assist in contract negotiations as required. Generate job numbers in Vision/Vantagepoint. Monitor contract performance against scope and budget. Prepare annual contract renewals and manage escalation terms. Track and manage contract expiration dates. Handle contract disputes as needed. Coordinate with third-party bonding and insurance agents to meet contractual obligations.
- Administrative Support: Review timesheets for accuracy. Assist in billing processes using EI. Manage databases and reporting related to disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs).
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Minimum of 4 years of experience is required. Must be willing to obtain required licenses within specified timeframe. Valid driver’s license is required with good driving record. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team environment and get along with others. Proven ability to communicate effectively, with strong writing and verbal skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to create and manage efficient systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with clients, office personnel, and field teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and ideally Vision/Vantagepoint. Experience in contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiation, and performance monitoring. Familiarity with contract bonding and insurance processes is advantageous. Experience with database management and reporting preferred. Flexibility to potentially manage additional responsibilities depending on organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Salary Range: $70,000-$78,000 depending on background and experience.
