Contract Analyst / Procurement Analyst

About the role

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Contract Analyst / Procurement Analyst to work in the Columbus, OH area. The position supports Procurement Consultants, Procurement Specialists, and Category Managers in the execution of sourcing and contracting initiatives, including spend analytics, market complexity, data collection, performance metrics, risk considerations, pricing, total cost of ownership, demand planning, and reporting. The analyst assists with sourcing strategy development, decision making, and contract negotiations, and may lead or direct less complex sourcing activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyze performance metrics to support strategy and decisions regarding suppliers and markets.
• Research and analyze spend data and prior contracts to assist with contract negotiation.
• Develop and utilize various models (e.g., pricing, total cost of ownership).
• Build and maintain reports to streamline analysis.
• Support bid analysis as needed.
• Communicate findings and recommendations of research and analysis to Supply Chain, Procurement, and Fleet Operations (SCPFO) and business partners.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE), the Service Center, and business partners on projects and initiatives to address recurring issues, improve efficiency, and improve satisfaction.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or related field; or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant procurement and/or customer service experience. Contract drafting and administration for large, complex agreements preferred.
• Other Requirements:
  • Request for proposal / sourcing process experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Maximo and Cognos preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
