About the role

Join the future of LAX! Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is seeking a high-caliber Contract Administrator III to play a pivotal role in the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Compliance: Support the APM Commercial Manager in monitoring DBFOM Agreement compliance, including non-compliance deductions and project close-out.
  • Manage Change: Lead change control processes, analyze the merit of developer change proposals, and resolve relief event claims.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Coordinate with functional teams to assess disputes and develop robust response strategies.
  • Drive Reporting: Create contractual tracking for D&C and O&M phases, including availability payments and non-compliance occurrences.

Requirements

  • Deep Expertise: 10+ years of contract experience in design, construction, and administration of large civil projects.
  • Delivery Knowledge: Proficiency in alternative project delivery methods and the specific contracting relationships between Owners and Developers.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to interpret civil, structural, and site utility plans alongside proficiency in project management software like Primavera or SharePoint.
  • Education: B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
