About the role

ITA International is a tech-enabled professional services company headquartered in Newport News, Virginia. We leverage subject matter expertise, data analytics, and technology to deliver data and tech-enabled solutions across Operations, Training, Engineering, Nanotechnology, Statistics, Machine Learning, and Software Engineering. We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team supporting our Headquarters in Newport News, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and receive customer correspondence, ensuring coordination between external customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Track contract actions, milestones, and reporting deadlines to support timely execution.
  • Prepare, route, and track contract awards, modifications, and other related documents.
  • Review and analyze Requests For Proposals (RFPs).
  • Assist with invoice processing.
  • Review all types of government contract awards and prime contractor awards, including analyzing and evaluating terms and funding, reviewing for compliance with bid, negotiating provisions, and mitigating risk.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal customers, external government personnel, and teaming partners.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather, verify, and organize contract-related information.
  • Administer contracts and subcontracts reports and deliverable requirements to the customer when necessary.
  • Assist with contract close-out activities.
  • Monitor assigned subcontractor performance and funding; assist with the negotiation and coordination of subcontract modifications and subcontract close-out activities.
  • Support and develop positive working relationships with contracting officers of the U.S. government, prime contractors, the DCMA, and other related organizations.
  • Assist with special projects, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in contract administration or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of professional business administration processes.
  • Exposure to and knowledge of the legal implications of contract compliance.
  • Superior time management skills and proven ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through, internally and externally, to provide a positive customer or stakeholder experience.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with a sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential documents and information.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of contractual requirements related to Department of Defense contracts.
  • Contracts management exposure.
  • Knowledge of Deltek CostPoint.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or data visualization tools.

Pay

Pay range for this position is $44,000 - $61,000 annually.
