Job Summary

This Contract Administrator will manage the full lifecycle of contracts and agreements within designated regions, from initial data entry and preliminary review to execution and post-award guidance. The role requires attention to detail in document processing, negotiation with external customers, and ensuring financial compliance.

Responsible for

  • Data entry into databases for Contracts, Agreements, and Change Orders for specific regions.
  • Maintains accuracy in contract databases.
  • Monitors and responds to group requests for designated regions.
  • Completes preliminary review and markups of Contracts, Agreements, and Change Orders, and negotiates resolutions with customers.
  • Reviews Contracts, Agreements, and Change Orders within a designated signing authority.
  • Obtains required financial guarantees, such as Bonds and Consent of Surety.
  • Provides guidance, advice, and support on contractual matters to the Sales team during the tender, awarding, and handover phases of contracts.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of contract lifecycle management, including tender, awarding, negotiation, and handover processes.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate resolutions with external customers and clearly communicate complex contractual matters.
  • Proficiency in utilizing contract management databases and systems to monitor requests, input data, and manage documentation.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements concerning contracts, agreements, and the necessary financial guarantees.
  • Advanced proficiency (knowledge) with Microsoft Office 365.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

  • In office environment
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Planned Business Travel

This job requires no planned business travel.

Education And Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • Combined experience in Contracts Assistant, Procurement Specialist, or Paralegal practices of 1 or more years with education is desirable.
  • Previous experience with databases, data entry and contract documentation.
