What You Will Do
- Lead and identify improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes, including automation, robotics, and digital systems.
- Validate new and existing manufacturing processes to ensure they meet engineering requirements, including capability studies and gauge R&R analysis.
- Address day-to-day quality issues from various sources, such as NCR's, line faults, and warranty claims, using quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Provide day-to-day support to manufacturing value streams, including Gemba audits and analysis to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain accurate process documentation and quality records, ensuring they meet engineering requirements.
- Collaborate with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team and support innovation and automation strategies, ensuring seamless integration of new processes and technologies.

Level I
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing
Level II
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing
Level III
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing

- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, manage processes, and implement new concepts.
- Skilled in leading and interacting with small groups.
- Continuous Improvement: Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and problem-solving methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead and coach teams in continuous improvement projects.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve problems. Capable of using structured problem-solving processes to implement permanent corrective actions.
- Workload Management: Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative, with the capacity to perform duties exercising independent judgment.
- Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to function as a team player and effectively interact with various stakeholders.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of multiple manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, assembly techniques, time studies, automation, PLC, machine logic, torque tooling, and computer applications.
