The Field Service Technician I will service, fix, upgrade, and perform preventative maintenance on various types of equipment such as coin & currency equipment, ATMs, software, and specialized office products located at client sites in Green Bay.

Responsibilities

  • Travel by vehicle, daily, to client sites (90%) with overnight travel as needed (10%)
  • - Some long drive times are encountered depending on geographical territory covered
  • Work with branch employees to satisfy client needs
  • Address customer service requests within the specified contract response time
  • Extended Hours Coverage periods and 'On-Call' duty where applicable
  • Safeguard and maintain a balanced vehicle stock parts inventory
  • Allupkeep and cleanliness of company issued vehicle including scheduled service intervals
  • Safeguarding of any company issued assets including tablet computer and mobile phone
  • All other duties as required

Qualifications

  • 2 + years of working in Technical/Field Service position or similar technical profession
  • Impeccable Integrity
  • Must be able to gain access to highly secured environments; Occupational licenses may be necessary to obtain depending on territory/accounts
  • Strong electromechanical aptitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a positive, customer-first attitude
  • Personable, approachable and able to work easily with others at all levels
  • Strong Attention to details - able to proof and prioritize your own work
  • Proficient in iOS, MS Office applications and Windows OS
  • Able to set and track goals independently, initiate and follow through on assignments without coaching, and work proactively as a team player
  • Able to commit to and meet project deadlines

Physical Requirements

  • Available for periodic travel to our corporate office in Mt. Prospect, IL for training classes
  • Able to lift, push or carry a minimum of 50 pounds such as large money counting machines and parts in and out of client sites
  • Ability to stand for long periods up to 75% of the time while servicing some equipment
  • Hand and wrist dexterity needed to turn screwdrivers and place parts and equipment
  • Phone or desk work about 10% of the time doing computer work, bench repair work, parts stocking, tracking service calls and setting up appointments
