About the role

Deploy an effective CI strategy within a manufacturing or distribution facility to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee development of Operations and Supply Chain (SC) CI resources in a single facility, including training and development plans.
  • Coach Operations-SC Leadership and hourly employees on CI fundamentals and build problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ensure CI resources deliver a minimum, run-rate, sustained savings of 3X total compensation annually.
  • Partner with facility Operations leaders to develop annual CI Objectives, Strategies and Plans (OSPs) and revise quarterly plans based on results and business needs.
  • Communicate CI methods to foster a shared mindset, highlight KPIs, share best practices, and celebrate successes.
  • Lead improvement projects delivering sustained, run-rate savings of 3X annual compensation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (preferably in a technical field) or significant business process improvement experience (5 years +), MBA preferred.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement Methodologies like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, TOC in various operating environments.
  • Minimum 5 years with increasing responsibility in manufacturing, minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TOC, ERP process, and system integration.
  • Effective problem solver, strong communicator, advanced operations analysis capability.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others, build effective teams, and mentor/coach.
