Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with department leaders and employees across the organization to identify and capture strong improvement initiatives and enable adoption and ownership.
  • Lead complex CI initiatives globally across functions and sites, from problem definition to implemented results.
  • Apply strong CI expertise (Problem mapping, process improvement, flow analysis, root cause analysis, kaizen events etc.) while challenging norms and introducing new approaches.
  • Leverage AI and digital tools to improve work methods, decision-making, and the efficiency of CI execution (e.g., smarter analytics, automation, workflow support, knowledge capture).
  • Build a strong understanding of business drivers and performance levers and translate them into measurable initiatives.
  • Analyze performance data to identify opportunities and drive action.
  • Monitor risks and opportunities, ensure mitigating actions are implemented, and follow up until issues are closed.
  • Train and coach employees and leaders in CI philosophy, tools and people performance theories.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 9 years of relevant experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional level experience

  • Project management experience, particularly within continuous improvement or change management related initiatives
  • AI and digitalization experience, and skills to find practical use for these types of solutions
  • Strong communication and people skills, and ability to understand – and explain and present – complex problems and solutions
  • Comfort with presenting complex, data-rich topics clearly and concisely
  • A curiosity that makes you seek to understand the why and how things are done, but a critical mindset that is able to question and challenge ingrained methods to find even better ways
  • An analytical and academic approach to issues, not jumping to conclusions but focused on data-driven decision making and methodical integrity
  • Knowledge or experience working with LEAN principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, databases and quality management software
  • Demonstrated excellent leadership skills
