Continuous Improvement Engineer Senior - Level 3 - Marietta GA

About the role

As the Operations Engineer Senior you will be responsible for applying Lean Six Sigma techniques, analyzing operational workflows, driving cost‑reduction studies, leading Kaizen events and training, and supporting facility and equipment planning.

Responsibilities

• Apply Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools to improve production performance and operational efficiency.
• Analyze sequences of operations, workflow, and equipment layouts to optimize plant utilization and reduce cycle times.
• Conduct cost‑control and process‑optimization studies, and implement modification plans based on findings.
• Lead multi‑day Kaizen events, provide continuous‑improvement training, and facilitate A3 problem‑solving teams.
• Support facility and equipment design, modification, and mistake‑proofing initiatives in partnership with facilities engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college.
• Experience with data analysis software (MS Excel, Minitab, Tableau, MATLAB, etc.).
• Accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Must be a U.S. citizen (this position is located at a facility that requires special access).
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills

• LSS Black Belt certification.
• Project Manager certification.
• 5+ years of experience with data analysis software (MS Excel, Minitab, Tableau, MATLAB, etc.).
• Master's degree.
• Experience facilitating Kaizen events.

Pay

Full-time salary range: $85,300.00 – $158,300.00.
