Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer

Join our team at the Marvin Composites plant in Fargo, ND as a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer. In this role, you’ll lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable, sustained improvements in safety, quality, output, and cost effectiveness.

About the Role

Focus on understanding how current processes are performing, identifying gaps, and delivering high impact improvements that scale across the operation. This role owns and leads a range of projects based on business needs, from cross-functional initiatives to smaller improvements that can be implemented quickly. These efforts may include driving cost reduction, reducing material waste, and increasing throughput.

Responsibilities

• Leverage data to diagnose performance gaps, prioritize opportunities, and quantify impact while ensuring sustainable results.
• Spend time working directly with production team members to understand challenges, gather input, and turn ideas into workable solutions.
• Lead teams in testing changes, measuring results, and ensuring improvements are maintained over time.

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated experience using structured problem-solving methods to identify root causes, adjust approach, and implement solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Industrial Engineering strongly preferred.
• 7 or more years of relevant experience.

Skills

• Ability to communicate clearly, listen, and build trust with others.
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings or prints.
