About the role

The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Cable Extrusion & Assembly department. This includes implementing lean manufacturing principles, optimizing production processes, and enhancing product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process flow and reduce cycle times.
  • Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices to improve productivity and quality.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cable extrusion or assembly operations.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cable manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC).
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Pay

$95,000 - $125,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
