About the role
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Cable Extrusion & Assembly department. This includes implementing lean manufacturing principles, optimizing production processes, and enhancing product quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and develop corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process flow and reduce cycle times.
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices to improve productivity and quality.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cable extrusion or assembly operations.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cable manufacturing processes and materials.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC).
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Pay
$95,000 - $125,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
