Continuous Foam (CF) Line Multi-Tasker

About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated and reliable individual to fill the role of Continuous Foam (CF) Line Multi-Tasker. This position assists with the startup and shutdown of the CF Line, secures materials, and handles loading and unloading tasks to meet production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Complete the CF Line Cross Training Matrix
- Assist as needed during the startup of each run on the CF Line
- Offloads buns as produced and accurately measures their dimensions, recording data in an Excel spreadsheet
- Maintain accurate Bun Bay Tracking centers
- Support rotation of Bun Bay operations to ensure balanced workload
- Maintain effective communication with the foam head operator to ensure team performance and product quality
- Ensure proper functioning of all equipment in assigned area and report malfunctions to the department manager
- Act as backup to the Compounder/Utility worker and QA Technicians
- Assist in obtaining, moving paper rolls, monitoring inventory, and setting up the CF line
- Perform cycle counts and assist in year-end inventory as needed
- Testblocks and scale up for production of new and low-volume foam for orders
- Clean the Continuous Foaming (CF) Line Conveyor and reactor assembly at the direction of Senior Foaming Staff
- Make mechanical or chemical changes as needed to support foam production
- Enter runs into E1 or current business system and maintain proper knowledge of all foaming-associated E1 functions
- Follow and track training for backup positions through the Foaming Manager
- Complete work orders and production reports as directed
- Follow established safety procedures and inform the department manager of any unsafe conditions
- Use required personal protective equipment, including respirators, when appropriate
- Ensure a clean work environment by maintaining daily housekeeping responsibilities in work areas
- Perform other duties as directed based on training or skills

Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
- Ability to understand math/chemistry concepts and mechanical/physical concepts
- Good decision-making ability to use resourcefulness or judgment to adapt to variations in problems encountered
- Experience in a similar position of a technical nature, preferably two years
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Tools
- Computer data entry skills required, and chemical process control experience desired
- Ability to follow general instructions and standard practices
- Ability to handle chemical materials in bags (90 pounds), WIP foam, and drums/totes, and climb ladders to top of tanks or bulk delivery trucks
- Safety awareness, as the safety of others depends entirely on the actions of the employee in this position
- Safe operation of a lift truck and possession or ability to obtain lift truck operator's license
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical education or experience sufficient to understand technical problems of average nature
- Two years' experience in a similar position of a technical nature
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
- Chemical process control experience desired
- Ability to follow general instructions and standard practices
- Ability to handle chemical materials in bags (90 pounds), WIP foam, and drums/totes, and climb ladders to top of tanks or bulk delivery trucks
- Safety awareness, as the safety of others depends entirely on the actions of the employee in this position
- Safe operation of a lift truck and possession or ability to obtain lift truck operator's license

Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $19.45 - $25.95 per hour.
Schedule
This position has a typical work schedule of Monday through Thursday from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm. When necessary, an earlier start time will be required to meet the demands of the production schedule.
