Contingent Maintenance Worker

Responsibilities

• Support production of V. Mueller and Snowden Pencer product lines and equipment/facility
• Disassemble, select repair procedure, order parts as needed and repair or replace worn or defective parts using hand and power tools
• Perform preventative maintenance operations including safety and environmental systems as prescribed by system
• Perform routine carpentry and related work involved in maintaining the facility
• Operate within and adhere to general plant rules and policies governing workplace performance and Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Work independently and as a member of a team
• Perform operations which require finite motor skills and manual dexterity
• Movement of items weighing up to 50 pounds from one area to another
• Install new facility LED lighting from man lift 23' up in air
• Clean facility equipment, wipe down
• Clean facility overhead walls, utilities including air lines, electrical, and duct work
• Organize maintenance mezzanine and department, dispose of obsolete materials, label needed supplies to quickly locate
• Demo old equipment that is duplicated with new system and relocate bulk oil storage equipment to new location

Requirements

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Performance of operations which require finite motor skills and manual dexterity
Movement of items weighing up to 50 pounds from one area to another

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
