As a Contents Technician, you will:
- Serve others within your community in their time of need
- Make a difference for those who have had a disaster strike their property
- Work hard and take pride in completing projects (e.g., mitigating flood and fire damage)
- Be empathetic and show a sense of urgency while communicating through modern technology
Responsibilities
- Perform high-level contents cleaning and restoration services, including the use of Esporta machines for soft goods and ultrasonic cleaning systems for hard goods, according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Contents Manager.
- Pack, label, transport, store, and unpack customer personal property with care and accuracy, ensuring all items are handled respectfully and documented properly.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism and empathy when interacting with clients who have experienced property loss.
- Maintain a clean, properly stocked, and organized contents cleaning area, warehouse, and company vehicle.
- Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule for emergency contents services.
- Assist in inventory management, including photographing, cataloging, and tracking customer items using company software.
- Perform deodorization and specialized cleaning techniques to remove smoke, soot, and odor from various types of personal property.
- Assist in warehousing and facility-related tasks when necessary, including general cleaning, organizing supplies, and maintaining equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all job functions.
- Assist other team members as opportunities arise and be a leader for the team when needed.
Requirements

- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Ability to work nights/weekends and overtime, if needed
- Ability to lift up to 50-100 lbs frequently, must be able to squat, stand, and climb stairs and ladders

Pay
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Employment offers are contingent upon the satisfactory results of a background check and 10-panel drug screening. Relocation assistance is not provided; candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the hiring location.
