Content Writer & Editor

Pay range: $20 - $70/hour

Responsibilities

• Assess the clarity, coherence, and accuracy of written content to ensure it meets project standards
• Conduct detailed writing evaluations, providing constructive feedback for continual improvement
• Identify and annotate AI-generated content, focusing on detecting AI slop or low-quality, artificial text elements
• Review and edit documents for grammar, syntax, structure, and tone, maintaining high-level English proficiency throughout
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other specialists, offering actionable editorial insights
• Contribute written analyses and recommendations to enhance the overall effectiveness of AI model training datasets
• Complete assignments within defined project timelines, ensuring consistency and reliability in deliverables

Qualifications

• Proven experience in writing, editing, or evaluating text-based documents
• Bachelor s degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field; or prior experience teaching English
• Native-level proficiency in English, with exceptional attention to detail in both written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated ability to discern nuances between human and AI-generated text
• Prior involvement in projects requiring content assessments, editorial reviews, or quality assurance
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote engagement
• Availability in the Australia / Asia Pacific time zones for optimal project coverage
