About the role
The Content Writer and Editor provides visionary leadership in ensuring all marketing materials are aligned with the brand’s voice, messaging, and style. This includes overseeing both traditional and digital assets, guaranteeing consistency and cohesion across all channels.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all content to ensure consistency, quality, accuracy, and adherence to AP style and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University’s unique editorial guidelines.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews to ensure all marketing pieces are current, factual, accurate, and reflect the latest brand standards.
- Optimize web copy to align with the site’s structure and update a content calendar for all media outlets.
- Enhance the content’s online presence by optimizing it for search engines, incorporating keywords, and following best practices for online readability.
- Ensure all communications are professional, error-free, and strategically tailored to meet the needs of both digital and traditional audiences.
Requirements
- A strong academic foundation in writing, linguistics, and critical analysis, ensuring clarity, precision, and creativity in content.
- Extensive training in grammar, rhetoric, and stylistic nuances through coursework and writing-intensive projects.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in content creation, editing, or marketing roles, preferably within digital media, journalism, corporate communications, or marketing agencies.
- Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
Qualifications

Pay
Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
