Content Writer, Commercial

About The Role

We are seeking a creative, motivated, and passionate Commercial Content Writer to join our expanding North American affiliate team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality commercial and evergreen content tailored to our various digital platforms. Your primary focus will be on crafting articles that effectively convert visitors into active users of sportsbooks, prediction markets, daily fantasy sports (DFS), and online casinos. You will be instrumental in maintaining and updating our commercial pages, ensuring that all offers and content are accurate, current, and compliant with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise, knowledge of the sports betting industry, and AI tools to produce engaging, SEO-optimized content that resonates with our target audience. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for sports, and the ability to work some nights and weekends aligned with the U.S. sports calendar, from Thursday to Monday.

Qualifications

• Passion for sports and a strong understanding of the sports betting and prediction markets industries
• Proven experience in creating effective, high-performing SEO content
• Knowledge of sportsbook and prediction market applications and target audiences
• Excellent writing, editing, and self-editing skills with a focus on clarity and engagement
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices and organic search optimization
• Experience with AI tools for content creation and editing
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends based on the U.S. sports calendar

Responsibilities

• Create daily news articles covering sign-up offers and industry updates within the sports betting sector
• Utilize AI tools to generate initial content drafts, then humanize and refine for publication, maintaining the Better Collective voice and expertise
• Develop and update commercial pages, including sportsbook review pages, ensuring offers are accurate, current, and compliant
• Collaborate closely with the SEO team to optimize content for search engines and improve marketing performance, including click-through rates
• Maintain a high standard of quality, accuracy, and compliance in all published materials
• Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into content strategies
• Meet established KPIs and user engagement metrics through goal-oriented content creation
