About the role

This six-month remote contract role focuses on delivering a consistent, relevant, and engaging content experience for our users. You will maintain and update content for established products, ensuring customer communications, in-app messages, help documentation, and resource materials accurately reflect product features, updates, and regulatory changes. Collaborating with product leaders, engineers, and cross-functional teams, you will craft UI microcopy, dialog boxes, labels, button texts, and toast messages to enhance user experience. The role also involves managing the content release calendar, overseeing the Help Center and Resource Hub, and ensuring quality assurance during content deployment. You will utilize AI tools to streamline drafting and editing while applying conversational design principles to produce clear, user-friendly content aligned with brand voice and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create user-centered content that simplifies complex processes and enhances user understanding
• Develop and maintain assessments within the Content Platform, ensuring clarity and accuracy
• Maintain and update content for existing products, capturing feature enhancements and regulatory updates
• Write and update in-app communications, help files, and Resource Hub content
• Apply content architecture principles to structure content for reuse and multi-platform publishing
• Collaborate effectively within agile teams, providing guidance on content best practices
• Manage content release schedules, oversee QA, deployment, and release processes
• Use AI tools to improve efficiency and ensure consistency in content quality
• Implement conversational design principles to produce user-friendly microcopy and dialogue aligned with brand voice
• Monitor and analyze content performance, utilizing data insights to inform future content strategies
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to meet project goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, UX writing, technical communications, journalism, or related field
• Strong experience with XML and HTML for content creation and formatting within UI and help systems
• Proven experience in content writing for product-focused or technical environments
• Proficiency in structuring language for XML and JSON formats
• Experience with content management systems (CCMS) and agile development workflows
• Ability to utilize AI tools for content drafting, editing, and brainstorming
• Experience in writing instructional, technical, and UX content tailored to diverse audiences
• Background working in agile teams, collaborating with Product Management and Engineering
• Familiarity with tools such as Paligo, Pendo, Jira, Aha!, Figma, Miro, Smartsheet (preferred)
• Portfolio showcasing instructional content and UI microcopy samples
• Excellent communication, presentation, and self-management skills
• Knowledge of healthcare software or EHR systems is a plus
