Content Specialist
About the role
Noonday is a globally inspired accessories brand that takes customers to meet our artisans: everyday color paired with pieces you never have to take off. For 15 years, we've created dignified jobs for artisans in vulnerable communities through fair prices, half paid up front, and partnerships that last. Today we're growing from our direct-sales roots into an omnichannel brand spanning ecommerce, wholesale, creator-led distribution, travel, and experiences. Every Noonday piece comes with a story: a place, a material, a technique, and the artisan who made it. We're hiring a Content Specialist to tell those stories in Reels, pins, product pages, banners, and ads, with content from our Austin studio and from the creators and artisans we work with around the world. You'll own Noonday's Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest and the organic social of our founder, Jessica Honegger. You'll also create the content behind our product pages, web banners, and paid ads. You'll report to the Brand Director, who sets creative direction. Marketing owns channel strategy and ad performance, and our Community Coordinator helps build the community behind all the comments and DM's.
Responsibilities
- Tell the Noonday story on social (approx. 45%): Plan and run the content calendars for Noonday's Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest and for Jessica's organic social, keeping her voice personal and distinct from the brand's; help shape new channels as we add them, such as a possible Noonday Substack; concept, shoot, and edit Reels, stills, and stories on iPhone
