About the Role
As a member of the PR & Communications team, the Content Specialist will be a key contributor to the firm’s website and marketing materials, ensuring that the firm’s digital presence clearly and consistently reflects its priorities, expertise, and institutional voice.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling, on-brand copy for a variety of audiences.
- Edit announcements of the firm’s work for internal and external distribution in a fast-paced daily review process with Business Development colleagues.
- Proofread various content to ensure adherence to firm style and editorial guidelines.
- Draft, edit, and revise content across the firm’s public website, including practice pages and lawyer bios.
- Help implement website updates to align with GEO best practices.
- Assist in regular refreshes of firm brochures and other printed collateral.
- Track changes to clients’ marketing restrictions and perform audits of the website and marketing materials to ensure compliance.
- Other projects as needed.
Requirements
- Exemplary writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to understand complex information and translate it into accessible copy for a variety of audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams.
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of writing or content marketing experience.
- Experience at a law firm or other professional services firm, or as a legal or business journalist preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Pay
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 - $125,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
