- Collaborate with the Content Creation Manager to implement quality gates throughout the production pipeline, ensuring defects are identified and resolved prior to publication; maintain and update quality standards frameworks as AI authoring tools and content delivery mechanisms evolve.
- Review content metadata, tagging structures, and topic hierarchy alignment to verify accurate asset classification within the AI content ecosystem and support content discoverability and organizational standards.
- Partner with the Content Data Analyst/Researcher to analyze quality trends, identify recurring error patterns, and drive data-informed improvements to production workflows and overall content quality.
- Evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy issues, hallucinations, outdated information, and pedagogical inconsistencies, escalating concerns through appropriate channels; contribute to the continuous improvement of prompt engineering guidelines and AI authoring templates based on QA findings.
- Support accessibility compliance reviews to ensure adherence to relevant standards (e.g., WCAG, Section 508) and document, track, and communicate quality metrics to Pod leadership, providing clear visibility into content quality performance and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in content quality assurance, editorial review, or instructional design, preferably within higher education, EdTech, or digital publishing environments.
- Experience reviewing, auditing, or evaluating AI-generated content, with a strong understanding of common AI content limitations, risks, inaccuracies, hallucinations, and pedagogical inconsistencies.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess content across instructional, editorial, and technical dimensions simultaneously, ensuring overall quality, clarity, and instructional effectiveness.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and compliance requirements for digital educational content, including relevant frameworks and best practices.
- Experience working in agile production environments, including sprint-based review cycles, with the ability to adapt to iterative workflows and fast-paced content development processes.
