Marketing$121k–$155k/yrFull-time

About the role

As a Content Marketing Manager for Cisco Marketing Campaigns, you're a driving force behind bringing midmarket campaign content to life—writing, editing, reviewing, and delivering high-quality assets that connect with IT decision-makers and business buyers. You're a hands-on creator and collaborator who takes ownership of the work from brief to publishing and makes everyone around you better in the process.

Responsibilities

  • Short-form Content Execution: Develop creative and compelling copy for integrated marketing campaigns—including paid media/advertising, email, social, and demand generation initiatives—that drive awareness and engagement.
  • Long-form Content Creation: Own the production of long-form content tailored to midmarket audiences—including blog posts, webpages, case studies, and more. Write with clarity, adapt tone for different formats, and review others' work with a sharp eye for quality and consistency.
  • Brief Review & Intake: Serve as the first line of review for incoming content project briefs, ensuring requests are clear, complete, and actionable before work begins.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product marketing, demand generation, sales, and design teams to gather input, stay aligned on priorities, and ensure content reflects the latest messaging and campaign direction.
  • Team Support & Feedback: Review the work of supporting midmarket content managers and provide clear, constructive feedback that sharpens their output and keeps deliverables on track.

Requirements

  • Background in writing and editing for integrated marketing campaigns, with expertise in paid media/advertising and email writing.
  • A strong writing portfolio that demonstrates your ability to make complex technology clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate.
  • Preferably 5 years of experience in B2B content marketing, ideally within networking, enterprise technology, or a related technical domain.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with midmarket or SMB audience dynamics and what resonates with their buyers.
  • Experience managing multiple content deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in using AI tools in your content workflows to accelerate and improve the content creation process.
  • A sharp editorial eye with experience reviewing and providing feedback on others' work.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality on deadline.
  • Experience working in project management software tools such as Workfront or Asana.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
