Content Manager B2B (Technical Marketing)
Role Overview
Dotcom-Monitor is seeking an experienced Content Manager to own and evolve content across multiple technical SaaS products, including Dotcom-Monitor and LoadView. This is a hands-on, manager-level role for someone who has worked closely with technical products and teams and is comfortable owning content that needs to be both technically accurate and commercially effective.
What You Will Do
Own content strategy and execution across Dotcom-Monitor product domains and related web properties
Write, edit, and maintain technical product content, including:
- Product and feature pages
- Technical explanations related to monitoring and performance testing
- Comparison pages, guides, and other inbound lead-generating documentation
Ensure content is technically accurate, clearly structured, and aligned with how the product actually works
Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to understand features, releases, and technical behavior
Translate technical concepts into content that supports product evaluation, onboarding, and sales conversations
Maintain and update cornerstone and evergreen content to ensure accuracy, relevance, SEO health, and conversion performance
Partner with SEO stakeholders to improve discoverability while keeping buyer intent, clarity, and credibility front and center
Lead and manage external writers and contractors, providing clear direction and maintaining quality and consistency
Use AI-assisted tools thoughtfully to support research and drafting, while ensuring all final content is accurate, human, and brand-aligned
Analyze content performance and refine strategy based on engagement, conversions, and business impact
Required Experience & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in technical content, technical marketing, or technical writing, ideally in a SaaS environment
Prior experience working with technical products and engineering or product teams
Ability to understand and edit content produced by engineers or subject-matter experts
Familiarity with web technologies and infrastructure concepts such as: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, cloud platforms, uptime monitoring or performance testing
Demonstrated experience owning content across multiple products or domains
Experience writing content that supports conversion and evaluation, not just awareness
Solid SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page optimization, long-form strategy)
Experience managing external writers or agencies
Experience using WordPress or similar CMS platforms
Experience using analytics tools (GA, Search Console, SEO platforms)
Nice to Have
Background as a technical writer or in product documentation
Experience with APIs, developer documentation, or pre-sales technical content
Experience in monitoring, observability, QA, or infrastructure-related SaaS
Experience supporting sales enablement or go-to-market content
