Content Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced World Languages Content Manager / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support statewide World Languages initiatives through content leadership, curriculum development, instructional resource evaluation, and educator training.

Responsibilities

• Lead World Languages projects and initiatives as a subject matter expert
• Develop and maintain instructional materials evaluation rubrics
• Review instructional resources for quality, standards alignment, and usability
• Develop and manage advisory panel selection and application processes
• Create training materials and facilitate advisory panel training
• Support implementation of World Languages standards and instructional shifts
• Develop instructional focus documents, guidance materials, and presentations
• Design and deliver professional learning sessions and workshops
• Collaborate with educators, district leaders, department staff, and stakeholders
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, reports, and communications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in World Languages, Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Linguistics, or related field
• Expertise in World Languages instruction, curriculum, assessment, and standards
• Experience developing instructional resources and professional learning materials
• Experience facilitating educator trainings, meetings, or presentations
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and with diverse stakeholder groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field
• State-level, district-level, or large-scale education initiative experience
• Experience developing evaluation rubrics or review processes
• Knowledge of current World Languages teaching and learning practices
• Advisory group, committee, or educator work-group experience
