Responsibilities
- Utilizes nursing knowledge to assist the content development process to ensure content is current, accurate, and legally defensible.
- Designs test questions, reviews and edits content, ensures validity and reliability, and aligns content with professional standards.
- Facilitates and provides support for all aspects of item development sessions/panels as assigned. Leads group discussions, records and documents responses, and analyzes and summarizes results.
- Aids in item content and item evolution, including testing security, item input, forms/document creation and maintenance.
- Assists in the development of material for public speaking and outreach through internal and external presentations on behalf of NCSBN including speaking at workshops.
- Provides support to special assignments and innovative research projects related to test development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in nursing degree required.
- Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Minimum of four years of experience in recent clinical practice required.
- Experience with public speaking required.
- Skilled in collaboration, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
