Contract

About the role

Lyzr builds AI agents for big enterprises such as banks and insurers, and runs an events team that hosts executive dinners, hackathons, conference takeovers, and side events across NYC, Europe, and the Middle East. As a Content Creator, you will turn those events into engaging memes, reels, photos, graphics, and copy that make enterprise AI funny, relatable, and on‑brand. The role is hybrid‑based in NYC (with in‑person events in NYC and Jersey City) and requires about 20 hours per week, including some evening events.

Responsibilities

  • Doom scroll professionally across IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and Reddit; turn trends into memes and reels that make enterprise AI funny and relatable.
  • Pitch new content ideas weekly and help build recognizable formats and series.
  • Shoot photos, short‑form video, BTS, and quick interviews at events (free food included); turn each event into a content dump within 24–48 hours (recap reels, carousels, speaker clips, quote cards, highlights).
  • Build hype before events with teasers, countdowns, and speaker drops; capture candid moments that create FOMO.
  • Bring new ideas for visually beautiful, on‑brand content; keep Lyzr’s visual vibe consistent.
  • Design graphics and templates in Canva or Figma; organize the photo, video, and brand asset library.
  • Write scroll‑stopping hooks and authentic captions for the Lyzr page and leaders’ LinkedIn accounts.
  • Track performance, share insights, and double down on what works.

Requirements

  • Super active on socials and genuinely understands internet culture.
  • Hyper‑productive with a same‑day turnaround as the default.
  • Loves creating and editing content.
  • Has a keen eye for taste; everything produced looks good.
  • Can match a brand’s style while keeping it fresh.
  • Grad students or recent grads are especially encouraged; the role fits around a class schedule.

Skills

  • Proficient video editing in CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools.
  • Graphic design ability in Canva or Figma.
  • Strong phone photography/videography skills; understands lighting, framing, and audio.
  • Attention to detail: spots typos, crooked logos, bad crops before others.
  • Comfortable filming CEOs and other executives.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Runs a meme page or has a personal following.
  • Experience with motion graphics or After Effects.
  • Has created content for a tech or startup brand.
