About the role
Equinox is seeking a Contract Content Creator with a sharp creative eye and an instinct for culture. This role is for a maker; someone who can concept, capture, and edit content that reflects the precision, performance, and elevated aesthetic of our brand. You'll work hands-on across our NYC office and clubs, translating the Equinox experience into dynamic, modern storytelling built for social. Luxury experience is a major plus, and please include your portfolio in your application.
Responsibilities
- Develop original, brand-aligned content concepts that push culture forward and reflect the Equinox point of view for organic and paid social.
- Film elevated, social-first video content in our clubs, in our office, and on-location throughout NYC—capturing movement, energy, and the luxury of the Equinox environment.
- Edit short-form videos with a refined sense of pacing, composition, and platform fluency across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging channels.
- Partner closely with Social, Creative, and Marketing teams to ensure every asset meets Equinox's standards of craft and brand integrity.
- Capture a range of content—from events, shoot BTS, training & performance, lifestyle moments, club interiors, and creator-led storytelling.
- Stay ahead of cultural and platform trends, bringing forward new ideas, formats, and editing styles that feel distinctly Equinox.
- Deliver fast, clean, polished edits with multiple versions for testing and optimization for paid social.
- Concept and execute performance marketing video ads that balance Equinox's luxury brand standards with performance-driven storytelling hooks, CTAs, and narrative structures.
- Craft and edit audio for paid social ads, including voiceover direction, music selection and licensing, sound design, and mixing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience concepting, filming, and editing short-form content for culture-driven or luxury brands.
- An independent self-starter with production savviness.
- Skilled behind the camera, comfortable directing talent, and able to capture dynamic, in-the-moment footage with intention.
- Expert in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or Final Cut, with a portfolio that demonstrates elevated craft.
- Able to work on-site in NYC and travel between clubs and locations as needed.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to operate independently while upholding a luxury brand standard.
- Deeply attuned to culture, fitness, fashion, and the visual language of modern luxury.
Pay
$40.00 - $46.00 per hour
