Container Delivery Driver

About the Role

The Container Delivery Driver will safely drive along customer routes to deliver and retrieve toters used by residential and commercial customers.

Pay

$25–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Drives container delivery truck to transport waste containers to drop-off and pick-up locations at customer sites.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle in accordance with Casella safety standards, state, and federal regulations; maintains truck appearance to company standards.
• Operates container delivery trucks safely on streets, highways, and customer sites.
• Provides courteous, timely service to all customers.
• Maintains a positive attitude toward company, customer, and municipal goals.
• Participates in training and learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company products, sales, and services.
• Performs other duties as needed to support company vision, mission, and core values.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physical ability to frequently handle objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing.
• Strong time-management, customer-service, and communication skills.
