Essential Duties

• Contact Us Spreadsheet Power of Attorney (POA) email box
• Respond to settlements and pleadings as needed
• Manage both telephonic and written contact with opposing counsel and consumers
• Accurately document the firm’s system of record (CLS)
• Provide sent and received emails to designated firm staff as required

Requirements

• Education/Experience: Juris Doctorate and admittance to Illinois Bar. (Additional licenses in BG states are valuable)
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Requires the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment; Expert knowledge of all applicable Federal and State collection laws; Ability to accurately type 40 words per minute; Strong written and oral communication skills; Above average spelling and grammar; Demonstrated ability to think independently and use good judgment; Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office Products; Analytical problem-solving skills; Understand Company and Client policies and procedures to ensure files are documented properly; Court room experience is a plus; Collections Law experience is a plus
