Contact Center Specialist

About the role

As a Contact Center Specialist at Teachers Federal Credit Union, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members through phone and chat interactions. You will handle inquiries related to account management, product information, and member services.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and chats from members in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide accurate and timely responses to member inquiries regarding account balances, transactions, and other financial matters.
• Process member requests for account changes, transfers, and other operational tasks.
• Follow up on member issues and escalate complex cases to supervisors as necessary.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with credit union guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a customer service role.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of credit union operations and products is beneficial.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
