Contact Center Sales Agent
About the role
MCI is a rapidly growing tech-enabled business services company with a strong presence in the United States and operations spanning multiple countries. We specialize in delivering Customer Experience (CX), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and Anything-as-a-Service (XaaS) cloud technology solutions across various industries including healthcare, retail, government, education, telecom, technology, e-commerce, and finance.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy
- Use training and resources to confidently answer questions and recommend products/services
- Build rapport, understand customer needs, and resolve issues effectively
- Research systems to locate missing information and collaborate with internal teams
- Manage customer accounts and process orders accurately using company systems
- Follow scripts, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
- Protect customer privacy and handle sensitive information responsibly
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate team members when needed
- Stay current with training, updates, and program changes
- Maintain attendance, punctuality, and performance expectations
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Typing speed of 20+ WPM
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Skilled in troubleshooting, conflict resolution, and customer service
- Empathetic, patient, and responsive to customer needs
- Able to multitask, stay focused, and self-manage
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
