Contact Center Banker - SLC, Utah

Responsibilities

• Gain a foundation of banking knowledge by working in the heart of our customer service operations.
• Help enrich customers' lives by answering questions, solving problems, and providing solutions to ensure an effortless banking experience.
• Use banking expertise to help customers identify the next step to accomplish their financial goals.
• Provide advice, guidance, and education to customers.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, and solving problems.
• Offer solutions for immediate and long-term needs on every contact.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Onboarding includes three weeks’ instructor-led and two to four weeks on-the-job training
• Able to accurately observe stable and scrolling on-screen text and images
• Able to accurately detect verbal information and communicate verbally using a headset or speaker and microphone
• Able to operate a keyboard and mouse to type and make on-screen selections
• Work at a computer for extended periods of time

• Adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Recommend different products and services to customers
• Multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Solve problems
• Work a flexible schedule which includes all hours of the contact center
• Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate various systems
• Effective time management skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• General knowledge of basic banking, electronic banking and/or credit card services

Preferences

• One (1) year customer service or production experience
