Founded in 1984, the Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau (SVVB) is a nonprofit destination organization representing more than 350 member businesses that serve and support the local hospitality community.

About the role

Professional staff help welcome visitors to Sonoma Valley at our two visitor and retail centers—located at 24 East Spain Street at the historic Toscano Hotel, and at 24724 Arnold Drive inside Jacuzzi Family Vineyards. Both centers are open all year, seven days a week.

Responsibilities

• Assist visitors in planning their trips to Sonoma Valley
• Provide information on local attractions, events, dining, lodging, and wineries
• Manage retail operations at visitor centers
• Process requests for visitor guides and other materials
• Respond to inquiries via phone, text, email, and mail
• Support group sales through coordination with Synergy Destinations

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation
• Knowledge of Sonoma Valley’s hospitality industry and attractions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, visitor-facing environment
• Professional demeanor and communication skills

Schedule

Full-time, year-round position with shifts covering seven days a week. Visitor centers operate at the following hours:

• Downtown Sonoma location: Opens at 10:00 AM
• Jacuzzi Family Vineyards location: Opens at 11:00 AM
