About the role

This position is responsible for creating loan document packages for autos, recreational vehicles, VISAs, and other consumer loan products. You will check for accurate loan system set-up, ensure proper Blaze guidelines and procedures are followed, and verify sufficient loan collateral. This role also acts as a loan information resource to Blaze staff.

Responsibilities

  • Complete necessary loan closing procedures, verify documentation, and disburse loans to ensure underwriting requirements are met.
  • Verify loan meets approval conditions and all stipulations have been accurately satisfied.
  • Ensure loan meets Consumer Lending Guidelines.
  • Verify appropriate rate and term of loan product, completing calculations as necessary.
  • Verify the lender has collected appropriate documentation for the type of loan, checking for name and other accuracy.
  • Provide support and input for employees when handling various lending situations.
  • Answer member/staff inquiries and resolve routine problems.
  • Act as a resource to Blaze employees for loan-related questions.
  • Provide support to branch offices with the lending process, including loan closings, title work, and documents.
  • Perform follow-up on closed loans to secure missing title work or documentation.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support effective lending operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of similar or related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products and computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to proactively respond to members/employees to problem-solve based on guidelines; written communications are based on templates but can be modified.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to answer calls and operate a computer.
  • Ability to interact with internal employees and members via phone.
  • Ability to travel to designated offices.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • May require Saturday rotations.

Pay

$25.20 - $29.50 per hour (base salary). Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations.

Schedule

  • Full-time, on-site.
  • First shift (day).
