Consumer Loan Officer

About the role

Our client is a financial institution that is $500 million in assets. They are seeking someone that will help grow one of its locations with a strong focus on business development and consumer lending growth.

Responsibilities

• Generating new consumer loans and deposits, with a monthly production goal of approximately $300,000 in consumer loans
• Building business through both walk-in activity and proactive outreach to members and the community
• Building relationships and increasing the credit union's local presence
• Participating in consumer underwriting

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of consumer credit
• Enjoyment of building relationships and community engagement
• Ability to produce and thrive in a highly incentive-driven environment
