About the role
Responsible for providing support for consumer lending activities. Represents the Credit Union in a professional manner, on the phone and in person, assisting and referring members as necessary. Actively promotes the credit union's full line of products and services and upholds the credit union's service standards.
Responsibilities
- Review and process loan applications effectively.
- Coordinate and prepare loan documentation for closing, ensuring each loan is promptly and properly prepared, documented, processed, and approved.
- Calculate terms, finance charges, and insurance on loans for proper disclosure on promissory notes.
- Adhere to the credit union's BSA/AML policies, procedures, and processes.
- Complete quality control of recently closed consumer loans to ensure all documents are imaged, signatures are verified, the loan is set up correctly in the system, and exceptions are documented correctly.
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- Assist with insurance verification by providing auto loan insurance documents to the insurance vendor.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent is required.
- Thorough understanding of financial services and products, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to collect and analyze data.
- Six months to two years of similar or related experience.

Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 5 PM and/or 9 AM – 6 PM (rotation).
- Saturday: 9 AM – 1 PM (rotation).
