About the role

The Consumer Banker position at First Financial Bank involves working with existing and potential clients to deepen client relationships. Key responsibilities include opening accounts, performing account maintenance, supporting client engagement through active calling and follow-up, and providing digital assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary functions to open and maintain accounts
• Run a Teller drawer as needed
• Support client engagement through active calling and follow-up
• Maintain operational and risk management standards
• Collaborate with internal constituencies to provide appropriate expertise to clients
• Ensure timely client follow-up calls
• Model the First Financial Bank Experience and participate in site center huddles
• Meet or exceed sales and service goals as set by management
• Provide digital assistance to clients using the bank's online offerings
• Stay informed on bank products, processes, and procedures

Requirements

• 2-3 years client service experience in a retail environment
• 2-3 years sales and service experience with success in achieving goals
• High school diploma or GED
• Possesses strong sales skills

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and/or equivalent work experience in sales is preferred
• Physical requirements: occasionally lifting up to 20 lbs, frequently lifting up to 10 lbs, sitting, standing, walking, and driving

• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of banking products and regulations
