Consumer Affairs Call Center Representative

Job Summary

Mckee Foods Corporation is seeking a Consumer Affairs Call Center Representative to join our Consumer Affairs team. The Consumer Affairs Representative is responsible for effective resolution of consumer and retail contacts via phone, mail, web and social media. Individuals in this role will interface with consumers, retailers, members of the Field Sales Organization, other Consumer Affairs Representatives, and other McKee departments.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 2 years customer service experience or related work experience at McKee Foods
• Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated personable, engaging and effective telephone personality
• Professional image, positive attitude and contribute to a healthy team environment
• Active listening skills – giving full attention to what other people are saying
• Able to enter “live” data while conversing on the telephone with consumers/retailers
• Able to maintain a high level of focus, energy and motivation while working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to remain calm under sometimes stressful conditions
• Able to effectively share the guiding values and message of McKee Foods Corporation
• Able to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• Mckee Foods’ experience
• 2 years’ customer service experience in a call center
• Bachelor’s degree in consumer studies, communication, or business administration, or related field
• Experience with or the ability to learn Excel

Pay

$19.67 - $25.39 / hr, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule

1st shift, Monday Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Hybrid-remote with a minimum of three days on-site per week, per business need
