We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Consulting Associate, Environmental Engineering to join our growing team in Philadelphia (Malvern), PA.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and execution of remediation systems for groundwater, sediment, soil, and vapor at active and inactive sites
  • Apply in-situ and ex-situ remediation technologies, from emerging approaches to traditional treatment systems
  • Contribute to technically rigorous projects for large industrial and global clients, gaining exposure across project lifecycles
  • Build a strong foundation in consulting, field execution, and client interaction early in your career

  • Comfortable balancing office-based technical work with field assignments and collaborating with diverse teams
  • Take pride in delivering quality work, staying organized, and communicating clearly—whether onsite, in the office, or with clients and regulators

Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Or 8 years of equivalent experience in lieu of education
  • Recent graduate to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel (~75% regional travel with multiple overnight stays; ~25% office work)
  • Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Able to manage multiple assignments concurrently and multitask
  • Detail-oriented and thorough approach to work
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline
  • Environmental fieldwork experience
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
  • Understanding of civil/geotechnical engineering design, including:
    • Geosynthetics
    • Stormwater management design
    • Roadway design
    • Erosion and sediment control design
    • Grading and landfill closure design
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and earthworks computations
