RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Adult Psychiatrist for a full-time Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist opportunity at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ.
About the Role
The Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist will work closely with Primary Care physicians to consult on patient care. Clara Maass Medical Center provides state-of-the-art medical treatment across a broad spectrum of disciplines and serves primarily residents of Essex, Hudson, and Bergen Counties.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric consultation and liaison services to primary care physicians and other medical teams.
- Work in an inpatient setting to support patient care.
Requirements
- Completion of a Consultation-Liaison fellowship (preferred).
- ABPN board-certified in Adult Psychiatry.
- New Jersey licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ.
- Experienced working in an inpatient setting (preferred).
- Open to new graduates as well as experienced physicians.
Current trainees can earn up to $24,000 with the residency stipend program if they join RWJBH during the final year of residency.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $315,000 to $475,000 per year. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
