Role Overview MojoTech is seeking a Software Engineering Consultant with strong experience across Go, React Native, and AWS to join our growing engineering team in Argentina. As a consultant at MojoTech, you will work across a variety of client engagements, partnering with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to solve complex challenges and deliver impactful software solutions. Unlike traditional product companies, our engineers have the opportunity to work across multiple industries, technologies, and teams, gaining exposure to a diverse range of technical and business problems. Demonstrated experience with AI-native software engineering practices is required for this role. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, excellent English communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and U.S.-based clients. You should be comfortable participating in technical discussions, contributing ideas, and helping clients make informed technology decisions. Key Responsibilities Design, build, test, and maintain modern applications spanning backend services (Go), mobile applications (React Native), and cloud infrastructure (AWS)Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and fellow engineersParticipate in technical discovery, architecture discussions, and solution designDevelop scalable APIs and backend services, including integrations with third-party platforms and servicesDesign and maintain relational database schemas in PostgreSQL, including query optimization and migrationsWrite clean, maintainable, well-tested codeContribute to code reviews and engineering best practicesHelp identify and resolve technical risks and challengesCommunicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholdersContinuously learn and contribute to the growth of the engineering team Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional software engineering experienceExperience with Go (Golang) and/or React Native in production environments, including building and shipping mobile applications, is highly desired. Strong understanding of AWS services (Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.)Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and migrationsWorking experience with TypeScript in production environmentsFamiliarity with secure API design, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and data protection best practicesStrong understanding of object-oriented and/or systems-level programming principles and software design patternsAI-accelerated code reviews and debuggingAI-assisted software design and implementationAgentic development workflows (parallelized coding, autonomous task execution, orchestration)Prompt engineering for software development and system generationUsing AI to generate documentation, architecture artifacts, and delivery assetsBuilding systems where humans remain accountable for quality and decisionsRapid prototyping with structured production hardeningFamiliarity with Git and collaborative development workflowsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProfessional working proficiency in English (written and verbal)Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environmentMust be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina Preferred Qualifications Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservicesFamiliarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesExperience with additional languages or frameworks such as Python, JavaScript, or ReactFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability/monitoring toolsExperience working in consulting, agency, or client-service environmentsExposure to mentoring junior engineersFamiliarity with accessibility standards, including WCAG guidelinesExperience working in regulated or compliance-driven environmentsExperience with AI-enabled applications, machine learning integrations, LLMs, or RAG architecturesContributions to open-source projects, technical blogs, or conference presentations What Success Looks Like Within Your First Year, You Will Deliver high-quality, maintainable software solutionsBuild strong relationships with clients and teammatesDemonstrate technical ownership and accountabilityContribute to MojoTech’s culture of engineering excellenceContinue expanding your technical and consulting capabilities Employment Structure We hire employees in Argentina through Deel, our Employer of Record (EOR) partner.
