Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (React / React Native / Node / AWS)

About the Role

Clever Benefits is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with robust TypeScript skills to contribute to our expanding platform. This position involves hands-on work across our React web app, React Native mobile app, backend services, and AWS infrastructure. Collaboration with a small engineering team is expected, covering the entire lifecycle of production-ready full stack features.

Requirements

- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience - Strong expertise with TypeScript - Production experience with React, React Native, and Node.js - Solid background in AWS services (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, RDS, etc.) - Experience with Prisma, PostgreSQL, and tRPC - Comfortable working full stack and owning features from design → deployment - Ability to work in a hybrid environment, onsite 2 days/week in North Scottsdale - Must reside within 30 miles of North Scottsdale - Interest in leveraging AI to enhance development processes (code generation, automation, etc.), with a focus on sustainable, high-quality engineering practices

Nice to Have

- Experience with mobile app distribution workflows (TestFlight / Play Store) - Familiarity with monorepos, pnpm/bun workspaces, or similar setups - Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (CDK, Terraform, etc.)
