Scope of Work
- Prepare property development / feasibility analysis for both sites, covering zoning, FAR, setbacks, and entitlement constraints
- Manage the permitting process through both jurisdictions: submittals, plan check responses, and ongoing coordination with planning and building departments
- Proactively flag risks or delays and keep the project team informed of status
- Join a weekly consulting call to report status and advise on permitting strategy
Requirements
- Direct permitting/expediting experience in San Francisco and/or San Mateo County specifically as local jurisdiction knowledge is essential
- Background in high-end single-family residential projects a plus
- Comfortable operating independently as an outside consultant, without day-to-day oversight
- Active architecture license is a plus, not required
Benefits
Commitment: 4 hours/week, plus a weekly consulting call
Location: Remote w/ SF Bay Area-based preferred
Duration: Potential to run through the full project lifecycle (est. 10 months-1+ year)
Structure: 1099 contract consultant
