About the role
Performance Improvement (PI) Practice within Nordic’s Strategic Advisory Services (SAS) helps healthcare organizations tackle complex strategic, clinical, and operational challenges.
Responsibilities
- Partner with PI team members to implement advisory solutions and demonstrate the value of the solution throughout the client engagement.
- Create complex analytical models to drive unique solutions to complex healthcare problems.
- Develop detailed financial analysis, statistical reports, visualizations, and presentations for both internal team and client review.
- Conduct detailed analyses to identify specific opportunities for improvement, as well as implementation recommendations.
- Consistently deliver high-quality work products that are ready for client review.
- Contribute to practice knowledge capital and tool development.
- Develop and update related work plans, issue logs, status reports, and related initiative trackers.
- Review and validate conducted analyses and client deliverables before submission.
- Complete quality reviews on team member work products before delivery to client personnel, validating team member findings and observations, and corroborating team member process improvement and analytic activities.
- Demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims.
Requirements
- Education & Industry: Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference in data sciences, finance, business, healthcare administration or related field. 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., healthcare organization, consulting), preferably within the revenue cycle space such as registration/patient access, HIM, coding, revenue integrity or billing/follow-up/denials management.
- Professional Attributes: Strong communication skills and collaborative work style, creativity and critical thinking in solving complex problems, ability to work independently as well as within a team environment, ability to balance multiple assignments at the same time, attention to detail, and ability to quickly pivot assignments based on changing priorities.
- Core Software Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Prefer experience working within Epic. Demonstrated knowledge using some of the following tools: GenAI Assistants (CoPilot), Analytical (PowerBI, Tableau), Programming languages (SQL, Python).
